Abstract:The Committee on Payment and Settlement Systems (CPSS) and the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) have set some new standards for Financial Market Infrastructure (FMI). FMI includes the clearing and settlement systems as well as the recording of financial transactions. It includes the systemically important payment systems, depositories, securities settlement systems and trade repositories.
