Why Should You Attend:

OSHA recordkeeping can be a source of much distress for the employer, due to the complex nature of injuries and losses. Many of the fines for incorrect recordkeeping are over $1,000. Therefore, the employer must be aware of what types of items gets recorded in the OSHA 300 and 301 logs. Additionally, incorrect log entries can increase the Total Recordable Injury Rates (TRIR) which in turn will increase the Experience Modification Rating (EMR/Emod). A higher EMR will translate to a higher workers compensation premium. This course will give participants the tools and training to keep accurate OSHA injury and illness records.

Additionally, he is a trainer for the Certified Occupational Safety Specialist program of the Alliance Safety Council-Baton Rouge, LA. Mr. Primus is an authorized OSHA General Industry and Construction trainer for the 10 and 30 hour outreach program.

Mr. Primus is a guest columnist for the online publications of Treatment Plant Operator (TPO) and WaterOnline. He has written articles regarding regulatory compliance, operator safety, and wastewater process control.
