Military and USG Construction - the Differences Between OSHA and EM-385

Why Should You Attend:

The US military has remained one of the greatest sources of construction spending on infrastructure since WWII. This is because the branches of the military do not build things themselves; they need the civilian construction community to do it.

The level of construction during the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Program alone has resulted in tens of billions of construction spending and the new political regime has indicated this spending will grow exponentially.

The USG military does not hew to OSHA, which is primarily intended for the private civilian workforce. When you go to work on a military or USG installation, you are playing by a similar yet different set of rules. While many of the rules look like OSHA rules, there are some subtle differences that can cause headaches.
