The Webinar, the second in a three-part series, on Food Safety Management Systems Implementation focuses on the essential tasks behind conducting the implementation phase and the associated tools. Further discussion on developing and managing against strategic initiatives in small, medium, and large organizations are included to enable the participant to walk away with not only tools and templates but also a greater understanding of navigating the complex world of system requirements but also change management. Typical audiences include Food Safety Quality Assurance Managers and Directors with responsibility for implementing or upgrading existing Food Safety Management Systems, Operations, Continuous Improvement, and Engineering Managers and Directors with touch points in Food Safety Management Systems. Systems and standards can and often include GFSI standards such as SQF, FSSC 22,000, and BRC. Requirements under the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), USDA-FSIS, FDA Food Code 2017, HACCP, and Preventative Controls are applicable to this methodology and templates. Interested individuals will not only be given a specific template to apply to their specific organization needs but also discussion on the strategic planning required to management broad change management will be included as essential to the overall process.
