Why Should You Attend:
There tends to be confusion between validation and verification when implementing management systems. Part of this confusion is caused by the National Advisory Committee on the Microbiological Criteria for Foods (NACMCF) HACCP guidelines. Principle 6 (Establish Verification Procedures) describes both validation and verification activities. This has been interpreted that validation is a sub-set of verification. However, in 2008, the Codex Alimentarius Commission published a standard on the validation of control measures, and the Codex separates the concepts of validation and verification.
This webinar will focus on the validation and verification activities that are necessary to develop and maintain a GFSI food safety management system. This session will benefit professionals from food and pharmaceutical companies by helping them understand the proper use of validation and verification techniques to ensure compliance with either ISO 22000 or ISO 9001.
