Why Should You Attend:
This webinar lays a foundation upon which to productively interact with the new food regulations in Canada, the United States and the international marketplace. It looks at the shift from old ways of regulating food safety to a new approach. If you give guidance or oversight to your food operation’s regulatory compliance, you should attend. Even if you only wish to understand what makes the new regulations in the US, Canada and elsewhere “new”, you should attend. Regulators are moving from highly prescriptive regulations to preventive and outcome-based regulations. You will learn what these terms mean and how the US and Canada have set out to regulate the food industry in coming years.
During this webinar, we will review the key elements of the regulations in an almost hands-on fashion. Participating in this webinar will help you to get ready for more than the arrival of the regulatory inspector. We hope to also get you ready for the inevitable regulatory and other competing compliance storms ahead.
