There have also been changes to the National Correct Coding Initiative Edits (NCCI) that have changed the way shoulder arthroscopy codes can be applied. For 2021 there have been two major changes to the codes associated with shoulder arthroscopy in addition to the confusion many have on the correct reporting of these codes.
Shoulder arthroscopy is performed frequently in the orthopaedic practice.
