INDEX AND INTRODUCTION TO FLEXO FOLDER GLUER/ROTARY DIECUTTER TIPS

There is universal agreement regarding the need for improvement of both output and return on investment of flexo folder gluer/rotary die cutters in the corrugated box industry. Only a few of the more than 1600 boxplants in the United States and Canada achieve maximum utilization or optimum production from their flexo folder gluer/rotary diecutters.

The Flexo Folder Gluer and Rotary Die Cutting Subcommittees of the Production Committee of the TAPPI Corrugated Containers Division have identified five major areas in which increased knowledge and better practices can lead to higher productivity and greater return on investment. These committees have been commissioned to publish a series of TIPs under the general heading Corrugated Containers - Flexo Folder Gluer/Rotary Die Cutter, outlining recommended action to attain these objectives.
